Peter Pan and his shadow for ‘Cloud’.
Just an idea I had the other idea while taking a few instax pics. This is quite basic, but I actually enjoyed the creative process.
The child wandering around the black country.
Here’s an Allosaurus skull for today’s ‘Fierce’ theme.
Old sketch of a sleepy dragon.
An early vertebrate scene for the ‘teeming’ theme 🙂
Rought sketches of some bird study.
(Improvised) Snail race on a wall…
Little bunny. Another drawing, another adventure. Working on my next story.
Some flowery boots I saw. Great idea.
Quick sketch of Monday goals.
Today, I only wanted to have a walk but things don’t always go that easy. Too much sound, too much visual, and in the end, I’m left numb and unable to talk. That’s how the mute mode starts with me, and that’s how it doesn’t leave me for most of the day.
‘Shy’ – Or what a ‘Vet Day’ looks like.
I made this illustration for one of my favourite books of all time, ‘The book of lost things’ by John Connolly. This is made with watercolour, brushmarkers and ink.
Really had fun with this one. For some reason, I HAD to make a pirate swordfish, and this happened.
From the moment they came on the train, the whole coach smelled of Doritos. I swear I had the same instinct as the kid on the right.
And all along, these kids were fighting for Doritos.
This one inspired me with a comic strip, hope you like it.
Here’s a really, really quick doodle I made about what people actually say when I tell them that I write.
Second of October, and there it is, my doodle dedicated to the ‘divided’ theme.
Finished this a while ago, but for some reason I forgot to post it.
Right, like I said yesterday, I’m starting Inktober for the first time. Seems fun and hope I’ll be able to finish the whole month!
Inktober – Day 1: Swift
I’ve been working on a few Inktober sketches to get ready (first year I’m doing it, yay!). So, in the meantime, I made this quick sketch.
When a teacher tries to impress little kids.
Some zombie in the streets.
Some more anthropomorphic doodles with kids this time.
Some weird landscape I really enjoyed working on.
I saw this guy helping out some tourists in front of the British Library. Apparently, they weren’t sure whether or not they could bring their buggy inside and the security guy kindly proposed to bring it over. I mean, it was kind of funny. He looked so proud with one hand on the buggy, and eyeing people in the corner of his eyes, sort of like ‘Don’t judge me, I’m only here to help…’
Being a visual thinker, that’s what I get in my mind when I’m travelling.
We’re all pretty much some sort of ants.
When the bus is late, or worse, when it gets cancelled. I mean, really, think about it.
Been doing some more sketches this weekend by the seaside.
Saw this little guy eating nuggets… if only you knew.
“I’m really looking forward to this weekend…” my friend told me the other day.
So I asked “Cool! What have you planned? Are you going somewhere?”
“No, nothing special”, she shrugged. “Just enjoying life.”
That quote’s stuck in my head ever since, because that’s really what matters after all.
Quick doodle of the big lemon bus.
Some sketches I took in the park (sorry again for the bad quality… #traveldoodles )
These two come from the place I’m staying in for a few days. The way I see them they’re just smiling towards me every time I come in the room, kind of weird and funny at the same time.
